Whole Animal Carcass Diet - Elk
Elk is a red meat that is rich in iron, and highly nourishing. Elk meat is exceptionally lean and low in fat, making it an ideal choice for most domestic pets. Unlike lamb, the subcutaneous fat cover is characteristically thin on the goat. It is generally favorable in omega 3 fatty acid content and high in zinc and copper, which makes elk excellent “skin and coat” food.
