Feeding Instructions
Each and every dog has their own particular requirements when it comes to the question of how much to feed. Use the following guidelines as a starting point and make adjustments as you determine your dog's overall condition after feeding Carnivora foods for several weeks. If your dog is loosing weight, simply increase the amount fed. On the other hand, if your dog shows signs of becoming overweight, then make adjustments by decreasing the amount fed. Take advantage of the different whole animal diets and select those that are appropriate in fat content for the mainstay of your dog's diet. Do rotate alternate selections of the whole animal diets throughout the week or over a period of a month for variety in the diet. Never feed one type of Whole Animal patty exclusively. You can feed Carnivora Vegetables 'n' Fruits or Prairie-fed green tripe with each meal, once a day, several times per week or not at all. Let your dog's activity levels, appetite and body condition be your guide! Along with a healthy diet, ensure your dog has access to fresh water and receives appropriate exercise. Maintaining proper body weight throughout a dog's life contributes to longevity and prevention of diseases. The ribs should be barely visible and can be easily felt upon palpation. An overweight dog's ribs will not be visible and an overlying layer of fat can be felt. A healthy dog is lean and athletic!
